This story is a visual elegy to the ghost of soviet athletic glory, set against the the early 1990s. Inspired by the fierce, iron-clad discipline of young Olympic gymnasts, the editorial explores the fragile limbo where a sudden injury freezes an athlete’s dream, leaving her isolated in an empty gymnasium.
